The Ipswich ‘Sackers’ Witches welcome the ‘Cases’ Somerset Rebels to Foxhall on Thursday for the first leg of a Knock Out Cup tie.

The two teams frequently race against each other in the early stages of this competition and the meetings have always produced some close competitive racing. Ipswich will be aiming to build up a healthy lead to take to the Oak Tree Arena for the return leg on Friday 13th June.

Witches team manager, Chris Louis, has made a change to the Ipswich riding order this week, swapping Gino Manzares & Cameron Heeps. This will give Gino more rides later on in the meeting while Cam will gain the benefit of an inside gate in his first heat as he continues his return to form. With reserve Adam Ellis declaring himself fit after injuring his knee at Rye House last Saturday Ipswich will be at full strength. Somerset however will be missing Pontus Aspgren as he has a Swedish League commitment and his place is taken by Ben Morley.
