NUMBER one seed Deta Hedman has lost in the final of the BDO World Professional Darts Championhips, after being defeated 2-1 by Russian Anastasia Dobromyslova.
Hedman, from Witham, started off on the front foot, taking the first set but the Russian hit back to leave the match on a knife-edge at one set each, despite Hedman being one game away from the title at one stage.
Dobromyslova turned on the style to clinch her second world title despite a valiant effort from the 52-year-old.
