The Spa Road club are still awaiting news on where they will play next season, following their relegation from division one north.

They expect to hear officially from the Football Association by Thursday once all of the outstanding promotion and relegation issues have been resolved in the non-League Pyramid.

Town are desperate to remain a Ryman League club. However, if they wants them to be ready.

He said: “If we do end up in the Essex Senior League, we would want to go out and win it at the first time of asking.

“One good thing about being in that division is that we would be able to have a shot in the FA Vase, too.

“They would be our two main targets.”
