WOODBRIDGE Town will face Grundisburgh in the Churchman Cup final at Notcutt’s Park, Woodbridge on Wednesday.

This final has been held over from the previous season due to the adverse weather experienced at the end of last season.

This competition has been organised in its present format since 1967. Previous winners have been Needham Market, Leiston, Stowmarket and Ipswich Wanderers.

The finalists have also won this trophy on a numbers of occasions. Although Woodbridge Town have moved up the non-league pyramid, and play a couple of grades higher, local rivals Grundisburgh also have a strong winning cup final record, so an entertaining game should be in store.

The match kicks-offs kick-off at 7.45pm.
