A young Ipswich Town side will take on Crewe Alexandra this afternoon.
Youngsters Josh Emmanuel, Myles Kenlock and Adam McDonnell are all included in the Blues’ squad, as are George Fowler, James Blanchfield and Monty Patterson.
New Zealand U23 international Patterson returns to action after breaking his ankle, playing for the U21s against Leeds in August.
This afternoon’s game at Town’s Playford Road training ground kicks off at 1pm.
