AS you probably already know the clock is ticking on this column and it will be closing down at the end of the season.
It began back in 1979 when local football was given precious little space – just match reports in Monday’s paper and no junior football or Sunday reference at all.
Times have changed and now the Ryman League, Ridgeons League, Kingsley Healthcare SIL receive numerous column inches every week.
