Terry's spokesman, Phil Hall, issued a statement saying the Chelsea defender is “keeping his own counsel” amid allegations about his private life.
Several commentators have called for Terry's resignation after it was alleged he had an affair with the ex-partner of England team-mate Wayne Bridge.
