Actors are being sought for an ambitious project that will mark the 400th anniversary of Shakespeare’s death.
Next summer, Sudbury Dramatic Society (SDS) under the direction of Annie Eddington – daughter-in-law of Yes Minister actor Paul Eddington – will stage The Tempest at the town’s Quay Theatre.
Following a week of performances, there will also be an open air show before the group takes the production to an outdoor theatre in the Spanish town of Laroles, situated in Las Alpujarras.
Auditions are scheduled to take place over two days on January 17 at 2pm and January 18 at 7.30pm, both at the Quay Theatre. Mrs Eddington said they would be auditioning for around 10 people in total.
