Better make sure there’s no bounty on your head as Star Wars’ Boba Fett will be among the visitors to Bury St Edmunds’ Moyse’s Hall Museum tomorrow.

The launch of the hall’s half-term sci-fi event sees the arrival of Fett actor Jeremy Bulloch and Paul Darrow who played Avon Kerr in Blakes 7

The theme of this year’s nine-day event focuses on the 50th anniversary of Dr Who with Daleks, a Cyberman, the Tardis and an appearance from a tenth Doctor look-alike over the weekend.

On Saturday, November 2 there will be a chance to meet Michael Troughton signing his book about his father Patrick Troughton, the second Doctor.

To celebrate the 30th anniversary of Return of the Jedi characters from the Star Wars universe will make an appearance.

The exhibition will have costumes, props, toys and memorabilia from a range of classic sci-fi including Star Wars, Star Trek, Blake’s 7, Alien and Dr Who to name a few.

Visitors will have a chance to play Pot Luck Sci Fi – playing top trumps against each other with a range of iconic characters.

The event runs to November 3, 10am-5pm.
