Music-lovers enjoyed a packed-out evening at the Hunter Club in Bury St Edmunds last Friday for heat two of BurySOUND, which champions new bands and artists in the area.

Bury-based 70s-influenced psychedelic quartet Kyanos were announced as the evening’s winners and will go through to the grand final at the Apex on Friday, March 9, alongside heat one victors Organ of Corti.

The competition continues this Friday at Haverhill Arts Centre with The Fifths, Heathen, Indecision, Saltfen, Shannon Elsden and heat three’s special guest headliner Stretch Soul Gang from Sudbury.

It is the first time a BurySound heat has taken place at Haverhill Arts Centre and doors open at 6.30pm. All ages are welcome but under 14s must be accompanied by a parent/guardian.
