Seven car boot sales starting back up this spring

For those in the decluttering mood or looking for a bargain, the region's car boot sales are often the place for one man's trash to become another man's treasure.
Here are seven you can visit in Suffolk this spring.
1. Needham Car Boot
When: 6am, Saturday, March 5, 2022, and Wednesday, March 9, 2022, then every following Saturday and Wednesday until October.
Where: Coddenham Road, IP6 8NU, Needham Market
Starting up again this March, the popular Needham car boot sale will be running through the year til October, every Wednesday and Saturday.
The gates open at 6am, and entrance for buyers is free.

Private sellers are charged £8 on Saturday, and £7 on Wednesday.
2. Beck Row Lazy Sunday Car Book
When: Starting up again in March- Keep an eye on their Facebook for details
Where: Nigels Field, Harry's Farm, Beck Row, Ip28 8RN
The Beck Row Lazy Sunday Car Boot Sale will be running from 10am, with entry for sellers costing £10 in any vehicle.
Super early traders can set up at 9am for £20
3. Stonham Barns Car Boot
When: 6.30am every Sunday starting back up in late March/Early April
Where: Stonham Barns Sunday Car Boot, Pettaugh Road, IP14 6AT
Taking place in the fields surrounding the shopping and restaurant complex at Stonham Barns, this car boot is a popular option for one-off sellers and antiques and is going into its 8th year.
Entrance for buyers is free, while selling costs between £6 and £10, dependant on your vehicle.
4. Barton Mills Car Boot Sale
When: Barton Mills car boot will be starting up in March, and taking place every Saturday at 10am. Look for updates on their Facebook page.
Where: Newmarket Road, Barton Mills, IP286AQ
The Saturday equivalent of the Beck Row car boot, Barton Mills is perfect for all you sleepy sellers.
The entrance is free says the event's website.
5. Woolpit Car Boot Sale
When: March 6, depending on the weather
Where: The Street, Woolpit, IP30 9PQ
Starting up earlier than most car boots, the Woolpit car boot sale has another string to its bow, combining a traditional car boot sale with an auto jumble, where people can sell and buy car parts.
As one of the only free entry auto-jumbles in the region, Woolpit offers something unique that other car boots simply can't deliver on.
6. Foxhall Car Boot Sale
When: The Foxhall car boot will be starting up on Sundays again in March — find out more on their Facebook
Where: Foxhall Heath Stadium, 827 Foxhall, Foxhall Road, Kesgrave, Ipswich, IP5 1LN
Taking place at the Foxhall Stadium, near Ipswich, the Foxhall car boot gives citizens of the town a chance to either acquire or get rid of their extra stuff.
Entrance costs £6 for sellers and £0.50 for buyers.
7. Weeting Carboot sale
When: Every second Saturday, March 5 - November, 6:30 am -1:30 pm
Where: Weeting steam rally site, Lynn Road Weeting IP270QW
Costing £6 a pitch and with hot food and toilets available, the Weeting Car Boot Sale is located on the border with Norfolk and is free for buyers to explore.
Bonus Round. Drinkstone Sale Trail
When: May 7
Where: Drinkstone War Memorial Institute, Gedding Road, Drinkstone Green, Bury Saint Edmunds IP30 9SZ
Not technically a car boot sale, the Drinkstone sale trail is the village's once-a-year collective garage sale, with opening up their garages and gardens to sell their old possessions from.
For out of towners, stalls are available for hire at the village hall, while a map will be provided to help people find their way around.
