Crowds braved torrential rain to support an arts festival in Colchester at the weekend.
Now in its third year, Colchester Free Festival took place in Castle Park on Saturday, showcasing the town’s music, poetry and culture.
Numerous bands played on the main stage throughout the day, including headline act Dingus Khan, while three hours of stand-up routines took place in the comedy tent.
Other attractions included theatre performances and an India dance workshop.
