TODAY’s Ip-art Global Rhythm showcases a feast of world music across two stages at Christchurch Park from noon until 6pm.

On the Caribbean Expose Stage there will be Lima Calbio from Trinidad and Tobago, steel pan performances, Ipswich Steel Orchestras, World Junior pianist Tamika Ward-Lewis, BT Medodians, the London Notting Hill Carnival Mas Bands, London School of Samba and Brazil Mas band.

The Peppery Stage will feature ska and jazz from Ska Toons, Balkan and Gypsy music from the Jani Lang Band, African and a cappella tunes from Black Umfolosi 5 and bhangra from Achanak.

As well as music, they’ll also be live entertainment, art and food to kick back and enjoy.

Among the many events taking place during the festival will be an open air cinema screening of the classic movie Grease (PG) in Christchurch Park on July 8. Gates open at 7pm and the movie starts at 8pm.
