A collection of paintings, drawings and prints which focus on artists that have been written about by art critic and author Andrew Lambirth are to go on show in Sudbury.
The Face to Face exhibition of portraits and self-portraits from the Andrew Lambirth collection will open at Gainsborough’s House on June 11. It will feature works in a variety of media, from etchings and lithographic prints to collage, oil painting and pencil drawings. Artists include Augustus John, David Jones, RB Kitaj, Leon Kossoff, John Nash and Walter Sickert. The exhibition will run until October 16.
