James Bay is the latest act heading to Thetford Forest this summer after it was revealed Simply Red and Rudimental will also be headlining.

He’s performing there on July 1 as part of the Forestry Commission’s Forest Live concert series.

Bay won last year’s Critic’s Choice Brit Award and his debut album Chaos And The Calm, featuring the massive platinum-selling single Hold Back The River, continues to ride high in the charts having been one of the best-selling UK albums of last year. He’s also been nominated for three Grammys and four Brit Awards.

Income generated from Forest Live is spent on protecting, improving and expanding England’s forests and woodlands.

Drum and Bass stars Rudimental kick start a weekend of open air concerts at Thetford on Thursday, June 30, on Saturday, July 2 Beautiful South stars Paul Heaton and Jacqui Abbott will headline. Simply Red will round off the weekend, with a gig on Sunday, July 3
