PAM Ayres brings her one-woman show to Ipswich for the first time in more than ten years on Monday.
She’s celebrating 35 years as a professional entertainer after making the first of her appearances on the ITV talent show Opportunity Knocks - the Britain’s Got Talent of its day.
It was the start of an incredible career and her current show includes material from her bestselling books Surgically Enhanced, With These Hands and The Works along with some new poems and stories.
Pam is a regular broadcaster on BBC Radio 4 on shows including Just A Minute, Quote Unquote, Loose Ends and in her own series Ayres On The Air; the third series of which was broadcast on Radio 4 earlier this year. She’s recently been seen on QI, Paul O’Grady and The One Show.
She’s currently writing her autobiography which will be published in autumn next year.
Pam Ayres will be at the Corn Exchange,Ipswich, from 7.30pm on Monday.
