TRINITY Park is inviting you to avoid the high street mayhem and get a headstart on your seasonal shopping at a pop-up Christmas craft, food and country gift fair this weekend.
As well as more than 100 stalls there will be some seasonal cookery demonstrations, including the use of game as an alternative to turkey or beef this Christmas and healthy eating curries.
Today and tomorrow’s event, organised by Living Heritage, will also include beer and wine tastings plus glassblowing and chainsaw wood carving displays among others.
Christine Bond, the park’s commercial manager, said: “This kind of pop-up shop is becoming increasingly popular and Trinity Park is the perfect venue as there is so much space for the stallholders, caterers and entertainment.
“Our proximity to the main A12 and A14 and experience in handling lots of people and cars on the site mean the event can be relaxing for everyone.”
The craft, food and country gift fair runs from 10am-6pm both days. Admission is 6 per adult, 5.50 for OAPs and 2 for children.
