LEGENDARY rockers Status Quo’s only gig in the region this year will be at Thetford Forest.
With worldwide record sales exceeding 118million and 29 of their 39 albums making the UK top 20, they’re famous for classic hits like Caroline, Down Down and Rockin’ All Over The World.
Appearing as part of Forestry Commission Live Music, Quo’s Francis Rossi said: “It’s a fantastic annual event that has become a statutory part of the UK’s live music calendar. We love to bag a trip to the woods each year.
“We are pleased to make Thetford part of our touring plans for 2011 particularly as we had a great gig performing to a capacity crowd last time we were there.”
Status Quo will be performing at Thetford Forest on June 9. Tickets go on sale this Friday.
