The Festival of Beer and Brewing is coming to Stowmarket this month, featuring more than 80 real ales and ciders.

The event will be held at the Museum of East Anglian’s 13th Century barn from Thursday, July 9 to Sunday 12. The beer list has been curated by members of the Campaign for Real Ale (CAMRA).

Live music will feature on the Thursday, Friday and Saturday nights.

Visitor services manager at the museum, Patsy Cane, said: “Every year the beer festival gets bigger and better. Good beer, fantastic live music and the amazing surroundings are a winning combination. We’ll have plenty of beer, cider and even wine for festival-goers to enjoy.”

Admission to the Beer Festival is £2.50 or is included in standard museum admission during the day. Museum and CAMRA members have free entry. The festival will be open Thursday 6pm-11pm, Friday 12noon-11pm, Saturday 11am-11pm and Sunday 12noon-3pm.
