A renowned wildlife artist will be exhibiting his latest work at the Suffolk nature reserve that has inspired many of his paintings.
Paul Dyson’s three-day exhibition at RSPB Minsmere is said to capture the beauty of British birds including avocets, waxwings, marsh harriers and grey wagtails.
Visitors to the reserve’s Discovery Centre will be able to view and buy paintings and greetings cards, with a share of the proceeds going towards conservation projects at the reserve.
The award-winning artist, who will be attending each day, said: “I always look forward to returning to RSPB Minsmere nature reserve, as its abundance of wildlife has inspired many of my paintings. I also enjoy meeting and talking to visitors about my travels to observe a wide range of wildlife in their natural habitat, both here in the UK and abroad.”
The free exhibition runs Friday-Sunday, August 4-6, from 9am-5pm. Normal entry to the reserve applies. Visit here for details or here for more of the artist’s work.
