A performance of Vaughn Williams’ Sea Symphony will be held at the Stowmarket United Reformed Church.
Conducted by Leslie Olive, the local charity Stowmarket Chorale is holding a ‘come and sing’ day.
People were invited by the group to spend a day with “all brave captains” exploring this piece of music.
It takes place on Saturday, April 29, and runs from 10am to 4pm.
A Sea Symphony was written for orchestra and chorus by Ralph Vaughan Williams between 1903 and 1909. It was his first symphony.
