A cast of characters ranging from polar bears to reindeer will grace the stage at the Quay Theatre as Sudbury Dramatic Society presents a fairy tale pantomime with a difference.
The group’s version of The Snow Queen, written and directed by local author Sara Knight, will run from December 18 to January 3. Based loosely on the Hans Christian Anderson story and written as a traditional pantomime, The Snow Queen features all of the usual characters, together with a mix of song and dance, and an opportunity for audience participation. It follows the story of principal boy Kay who is stolen away by the Snow Queen and is pursued by the heroine Gerda and assorted friends. Tickets are available now from the box office on 01787 374745 or online at www.quaytheatre.org.uk
