An amusing new production centring on a genteel summer afternoon’s cricket that goes horribly wrong is set to open in Sudbury next month.
Sudbury Dramatic Society will present Outside Edge, by Richard Harris, at the Quay Theatre from May 10 to 14. It is being directed by Mark Scanlon, who also appeared in the society’s 1986 version of the play.
The story involves a varied group of couples with little in common who are pitched together in a summer afternoon of tension, back-biting and chaos among the sandwiches and cups of tea. Tickets for Outside Edge are available now from the Quay box office on 01787 374745 or online at www.quaysudbury.com
