Legendary Irish rockers The Pogues are bringing their unique sound to Suffolk for the first time in more than a decade.

The band - famous worldwide for their Christmas hit ‘Fairytale of New York’ - have been gigging around the world since reforming in 2001, and will play at this summer’s Forest Live concert series at Thetford Forest.

Having achieved critical acclaim for their fusion of folk, punk and rock, the band - which is still fronted by Shane MacGowan - remain famous for their live performances, and join the likes of Boyzone and Katherine Jenkins in a stacked summer of music at the forest.

The Pogues and guests will be performing on Saturday, June 14, with tickets on sale from Friday.
