TV: Celebrity farmer Jimmy moves to C4
SUFFOLK’S most famous celebrity farmer has been poached by Channel 4 for an exclusive TV deal.
The Jimmy’s Farm presenter is leaving BBC2 after several years to work on a range of new programmes at the commercial broadcaster, home to TV chef Jamie Oliver.
Doherty, who runs a farm just outside Ipswich, found fame while working on one of Oliver’s shows and went on to star in his own series, Jimmy’s Farm, in which he established a working farm specialising in raising rare breed animals.
