Suffolk Water Park is holding a free family fishing day this Saturday.

Whether you have fished before or are a beginner, there is something for everybody.

Learn how it’s done, learn a new tactic or brush up on skills you may have forgotten with the coaches.

There will also be a nature hunt and other activities for those who don’t fancy fishing.

Newmarket Food and Drink Festival

September 16 and 17

Sink your teeth into some of the delicious street food which will be on offer at Newmarket’s Food and Drink Festival this weekend.

You can expect bespoke stalls, deli style producers, homewares and delicious drinks.

Celebrity chef Sophie Grigson will be there to help you improve your cooking skills, as well as local chef Theo Randall.

There will also be the first ever buskers competition, make sure you catch the buskers’ performances around the town centre.

HighTide Arts Festival

Spend your weekend at the eleventh annual HighTide arts festival in Aldeburgh.

Experience the latest productions, world premiers, world class artists, comedy and so much more!

On top of that, the festival introduces a new theatre called The Mix - it has 260 seats and offers audiences something unique.

Autumn Plant Fair with Artisan Market

The picturesque Helmingham hall is hosting its autumn plant fair this weekend.

A free plant will be given to the first 800 people through the gate - a good incentive to get you out of bed on a Sunday morning!

The day will be full of things to do and look at, with hundreds of rare and unusual plants, specialist nurseries, live music and lots more.

You will also have the opportunity to be taken on a tour around the grounds by Lady Tollemache.
