Hundreds of thrill-seekers had the fun of taking on the world’s longest inflatable obstacle course when it visited Suffolk at the weekend.
People of all ages queued at Trinity Park, near Ipswich, to try out the 1,000ft long Labyrinth Challenge – with organisers delighted with the response and the keen attitude of those who took up the gauntlet thrown down at them.
The bouncing course contained 30 obstacles and had five different zones: jungle, toxic, combat and ocean zone, plus brand new for 2018, the lava zone.
There was also a mini version of the challenge for those aged between five and nine.
The inflatable wonderland was packed with things to do with 30 attractions and a dedicated village with fun inflatable challenges.
Fun seekers also enjoyed volleyball, a penalty shootout, crazy golf, wipeout stepping stones, Nerf wars, laser tag, a toddler playroom, bouncy castles and lots more.
Dan Byrne, tour director for The Labyrinth Challenge, said: “It was an excellent weekend and everyone had a great time and it was a very successful day for us.
“While our new look main course provided serious fun and excitement this year the expanded village ensured it was a true family outing with attractions and entertainment to keep kids and adults entertained for the whole day.
“All the ticket holders got the chance to take on the Labyrinth course as many times as they liked during their 60-minute slot, alongside unlimited use of all the inflatables and attractions within The Village.”
The event, organised by Simply The Best Events (STBE), which is based in Reading, had more than 90,000 people take part in the course in its UK 2017 tour.
Mr Byrne added: “It’s been brilliant coming to Ipswich and the staff at Trinity Park were wonderful and we could not have asked for anything better.”
Some of the other attractions on offer included basketball, tennis, golf chipper, baseball, head to head football, beat the keeper, a softplay area, jungle activity bouncer, a clown castle and slide combo, funfair slide, bouncy boxing, badminton, swing-ball and giant garden games to add to the fun day.
With the brilliant weather it all added up to be a great day out for the many people who flocked to Trinity Park.
