WATFORD have sacked Sean Dyche as manager, according to Sky Sports.
Dyche led the Hornets to 11th place in last season’s Championship but new owners, the Pozzo family, have moved swiftly to dispense of his services.
It leaves the path open for the Pozzo’s top target Gianfranco Zola to take over at Vicarage Road.
Giampaolo Pozzo announced on Monday that he had reached a verbal agreement with Zola for his fellow Italian to become Watford’s new boss.
