From Fame the Musical to Britain's Got Talent finalists Flawless, there is something for everyone this autumn at the Ipswich Regent.

With a jam-packed programme of musicals, comedy and music coming up, you're spoilt for choice at the Regent.

1. An Officer and a Gentleman

August 27 to September 1

Based on true events, An Officer and a Gentleman The Musical follows the Oscar-winning film starring Richard Gere. Zack Mayo is in training to become a US Navy Pilot. When he rolls into boot camp with a bit too much of a swagger, drill Sergeant Foley doesn't make life easy for him. When he falls for local girl Paula Pokrifki and tragedy befalls his friend and fellow candidate, Zack realises the importance of love and friendship and finds the courage to be himself and win the heart of the woman he loves. Its feel-good soundtrack includes the hit song from the movie 'Up Where We Belong' along with many 80s classic anthems including Girls Just Want to Have Fun, Livin' On A Prayer and Material Girl.

2. The Best of Wham!

September 14

A new show featuring the best of George, Andrew, Pepsi and Shirlie with sensational vocals, choreography, costumes and live band. The Best of Wham! show includes all those hits, a few B side favourites and a couple of George Michael bonus songs. In four short years, WHAM! sold more than 28 million records, topping the charts with three albums, four number one singles and eleven top ten hits. So head along to Club Tropicana for a megamix tribute to the pop sensation of the 80s.

3. An Audience with Simon Reeve

September 29

Simon Reeve's first-ever theatre tour will feature the world-famous journalist recount tales from over 15 years of travelling to the most remote and extreme corners of the planet. From being chased by pirates, hounded by the Mafia and bombed by Columbian barons, Simon Reeve has travelled through over 120 countries and his BBC documentaries have sold to over 60 countries around the world. This show includes exclusive footage and a Q&A session.

4. Our Finest Hour - Dunkirk and the Battle of Britain

September 30

To coincide with the lead up to Remembrance Day, take a look back in words and music at the momentous turning point of World War Two, and Britain's finest hour, from the miracle of Dunkirk to the decisive victory of the Battle of Britain. From Vera Lynn and Gracie Fields to the Andrews Sisters and Glenn Miller, the songs and music of the 1940s are as well-loved today as ever. Featuring the songs that won the war – such as We'll Meet Again, The White Cliffs of Dover and A Nightingale Sang On Berkeley Square as well as some of the classic music it inspired.

5. Caro Emerald

October 5

Since the release of the 2010 multi-platinum debut album Deleted Scenes From The Cutting Room Floor, Caro Emerald and producers Grandmono have fashioned their own niche, blending retro jazz with sampling and modern pop, starring Caro's exceptional vocals. The result is a truly unique signature sound. The vocalist is an original pop star with the look of a Hollywood icon of yesteryear and a voice that oozes warmth and vitality.

6. Dave Gorman

October 25

Dave Gorman, the man behind Dave TV's hit show Modern Life Is Goodish as well as Are You Dave Gorman? and Googlewhack Adventure, is back on the road with a brand new live show - With Great PowerPoint Comes Great ResponsibilityPoint. As the title suggests, he's bringing his laptop and projector screen with him so expect him to give a detailed analysis of those parts of life you've never stopped to think about before.

7. Fame the Musical

October 29 to November 3

The definitive 30th anniversary tour of Fame The Musical starring Keith Jack (Any Dream Will Do, Joseph and the Amazing Technicolour Dreamcoat), Mica Paris (Love Me Tender, Chicago, Mama I Want To Sing) and Jorgie Porter (Hollyoaks, Dancing On Ice). Based on the 1980 phenomenal pop culture film, Fame The Musical is the international smash hit following the lives of students at New York's High School For The Performing Arts as they navigate their way through the highs and lows and the ultimate elation of life.

8. Flawless

November 10

Following their World Tour, Flawless are back in the UK performing even bigger and jaw-dropping routines than ever before! Stars of the smash-hit movies Street Dance 3D 1 & 2 and two-time winners of the World Dance Championships, Flawless came to the fore on TV's Britain's Got Talent in 2009 and their popularity has continued to rise ever since. This high energy, acrobat-fused family show follows the journey of 10 Big Dreamers, seeking the opportunity to live their ultimate dance fantasy on board the Intergalactic Dream Ship.

9. The Little Mix Experience

November 24

If you're a fan of one of X-Factor's finest exports you're sure to L.O.V.E The Little Mix Experience. Four talented girls pay tribute to one of the UK's finest girl-bands. With breathtaking dance moves, replica costumes and some of the finest vocals in the UK, this is a high-energy show from beginning to end, packed with all of Little Mix's greatest hits and suitable for all ages. Featuring songs such as DNA, Wings, Salute, Black Magic, Love Me Like You, Secret Love Song, and many more.

10. Jason Manford

December 5

It's been a busy few years for Jason since his last smash-hit stand up show but fans of his Absolute Radio show will know this nationally acclaimed comedian hasn't changed a bit. 'Muddle Class' promises to feature a wealth of new material about Jason growing up 'working class' then finding, over the years, that part of him has become 'middle class' - causing much confusion. Delivered with Jason's amiable charm and captivating wit.

11. Snow White

December 14 to January 2

Welcome to the most magical pantomime ever told, where poor Snow White is doomed to live UN-happily ever after with her horrid stepmother the Wicked Queen. From the same team behind last year's hilarious production of Jack and the Beanstalk, The Ipswich Regent Theatre have once again teamed up with Enchanted Entertainment to bring you the region's biggest Christmas show. In a true rags to riches story Snow White manages, with the help of her 'madcap' friend Muddles the Jester, to meet a handsome Prince and make all her dreams come true.
