Sid and Scrat, along with the Ice Queen, characters from the movie Ice Age, paid a visit to the Arc Shopping Centre, in Bury St Edmunds, this week, as part of the centre’s Awesome August campaign.
There was face painting, free snow cones and giant games and children were able to pose for photos with the characters on Monday.
The final Awesome August event is on Monday, August 20, between 11am and 3pm, with jungle animals.
Shoppers can become a jungle explorer with a Safari Chief and go on a trek in search of wild cats and cheeky monkeys.
Children will also be able to take part in a fun jungle craft and take home their own lion mask.
And they can come along in jungle-themed fancy dress and strike a pose for a photo to enter into the weekly competition to win a Cineworld family pass plus a £50 voucher for a store at the Arc.
Centre manager Colin Roberts said: “Our summer family events are a great way for kids to meet new friends and get involved with the different characters and competitions.
“We are proud that we can offer free entertainment for families over the school holidays.
“The activities that the kiddies will engage with will be a lot of fun; this summer is no exception and will be very exciting.”
