Close your eyes and you could really believe it was the real thing.
The close, tight harmonies and the fabulous guitars sounded as if Glenn Frey, Don Henley, Joe Walsh and Timothy B Schmit were on stage.
It was only when you opened your eyes the reality really kicked in.
For the Illegal Eagles, often acclaimed as the world’s official number one Eagles tribute band, thrilled a full house at the Apex, Bury St Edmunds on Friday, September 15.
They stopped off for their two nights of a 103-day tour and performed some of the band’s stand out classic songs including ‘Hotel California’, ‘Take It Easy’, ‘Lyin’ Eyes’, ‘Desperado’, ‘Life in the Fast Lane’, ‘Take it to the Limit’, ‘Too Busy Being Fabulous’ and many more, as they celebrated 21 years of UK and international touring.
It was a night to remember for Eagles fans.
