Tickets are now available for a fundraising Summer Garden Party at Ickworth House, in Horringer, which is being held in aid of the estate’s church Conservation Trust.
It is taking place on Friday, June 22, with a host of entertainment on offer including a harpist and a classical group.
It starts at 6pm with a glass of Prosecco and music by the West Suffolk Youth Jazz Ensemble, followed at 7pm by Classic Femme, harpist Lucy Bunce and a prize draw between 8.30pm and 9pm when the event closes.
The Edmunds Restaurant at the West Suffolk College will be preparing canapes and the students in the final years will be serving.
During the evening there will be a prize draw raffle with tickets at £1 with many prizes donated including those from the Angel Hotel, The Beehive pub, Bury St Edmunds MP Jo Churchill, Homebase, Nethergate Wines, the Newmarket Stud, Ickworth Hotel and Frederick, the 8th Marquess of Bristol and chairman of the Trustees of Ickworth Church.
