Fire crews attended a lorry blaze in a rural village in Suffolk.

Suffolk Fire and Rescue were called at about 1.05pm on Tuesday after receiving reports that a lorry was on fire.

The lorry is on private land and so traffic was affected.

Two crews - one from Sudbury and one from Long Melford - attended the incident in Sackers Green, near Great Cornard and Sudbury.

They used breathing apparatus and two hose reels to put out the blaze.

No ambulance was called.
