The trial of a 27-year-old man accused of attempting to rob a woman and strangle her will take place in February.
Anthony Jones, of Denmark Road, Lowestoft, is accused of assault occasioning actual bodily harm, intentional strangulation and theft.
All the offences relate to the same alleged victim and are said to have taken place earlier this year.
Jones appeared before Ipswich Crown Court on Friday.
He has pleaded guilty to theft, but not guilty to all the other counts and his trial has been set for February 26.
