A Suffolk Conservative club is not about to close, its national 'parent' organisation has said.
Speculation had been mounting that the Felixstowe Conservative Club in High Road West was struggling financially and was suffering a decline in numbers visiting the premises.

However, Charles Littlewood, deputy chief executive of the Association of Conservative Clubs (ACC), said: "The club is continuing to trade and there is no expectation that it will be closing. The ACC will offer any necessary assistance to the club."
The members club offers snooker, darts and pool, as well as function rooms available for events, including celebrations and conferences.
