A Suffolk restaurant is presenting one night of authentic Tuscan cooking as the resident Italian chefs make their favourite foods for customers.
The Suffolk in Aldeburgh has had a stellar start to 2024, featuring in Squaremeal's top 100 restaurants and was named as one of celebrity food critic Jay Rayner's best meals of 2023.
The restaurant with rooms has been hosting three chefs from Italy: head chef Federico, Matteo and Andrea from the restaurant Castello di Tornano in the Tuscany region.
"We've got some Italian chefs staying with us this winter," revealed head chef Tom Payne in an interview in January.
"It has been wicked having them in the kitchen."
The chefs will have an opportunity to share authentic Tuscan cuisine at a one-night-only pop-up at The Suffolk on Friday, February 9, with the menu teased on the restaurant's social media.
"Head chef Federico and the team will be cooking his favourite Tuscan dishes like Chicken liver pâte with hazelnuts and Vinsanto; Spinach and ricotta gnudi; Brasato di guancia; and Tiramisu."
Seats can be booked through The Suffolk's website.
