A care home has been shortlisted for two national catering awards.

Britten Court, a Care UK facility in Lowestoft, has earned nominations in the Team of the Year category at the Public Sector Catering Awards and also has made it through to the finals of the Care Home Catering Awards.

Both events aim to recognise the talents and innovative approaches of industry professionals.

The nominations have largely been put down to the work of head chef Kamal Djedda and sous chef Andrew Golder's creative ideas for their high-quality catering.
