Two Border Force vessels were spotted with a fishing boat in a town's port.

The two black boats were seen alongside a green and white fishing vessel in Lowestoft's Waveney Dock yesterday at 7.15am.

In the photograph, at least eight Border Force officers can be seen, with four aboard the fishing boat talking to a uniformed man.

An eyewitness said that the Border Force vessels were offshore and had impounded the fishing vessel.

A spokesman for the Home Office was reached for contact but advised that Border Force does not disclose information relating to operational deployments.
