Model enthusiasts have shown off their collections to buyers and traders at a railway club’s fair.
Around 600 people came along to the event organised by Stowmarket Railway Club yesterday in the Needham Market Community Centre.
David Vince, publicity officer for the club, said he was pleased with the attendance.
He said: “It’s been excellent. The traders had a good day and our refreshments almost ran out. It all went very well.
“It’s amazing how many people are interested in collecting these sort of things.”
He said alongside the regular collectors, families brought along their children to find out more about the hobby. Alongside the model trains, diecast planes, cars and buses were on display.
On April 27 the club will host its annual exhibition at Mid Suffolk Leisure Centre in Stowmarket.
