Pupils took a trip back in time during a visit to one of Suffolk’s best-love attractions.
Class one pupils at Grundisburgh Primary School explored the history of Framlingham Castle as part of their current studies.
Teacher Gemma Oakley said the pupils were asked to imagine what life would have been like several centuries ago as they took a trip around the castle wall, moat and its 17th century poor house.
“They absolutely loved it and haven’t stopped talking about it since they got back,” she said.
Pupils said their highlights included the walk around the castle battlements, the “amazing views” and walking across the drawbridge.
The pupils are currently working on a topic about castles, which has seen them build a model for the classroom.
