Suffolk’s top music festival, Latitude, is in the top five best music festivals nationwide for value for money, according to a new survey.
A study by online comparison website GoCompare has studied the country’s major festivals to determine which had the lowest cost per artist and the lowest daily cost to compile a list of those with the lowest overall cost.
The list was topped by Glastonbury, which despite costing an average of £243 featured 1,643 artists meaning a cost of just 15p per performer.
Positions two, three and four were filled respectively by the Isle of Wight’s Bestival, the reggae and dub-themed One Love Festival in Kent, and Wales’ Festival No 6.
Latitude appeared fifth, with a cost of 60p per billing and an average daily cost of £51.38.
A full weekend ticket for the weekend costs around £205.
