There is a massive game at Ipswich Wanderers tonight as Hadleigh United visit Humber Doucy Lane clinging on to their Premier Division status by a thread.

With two of the relegation places already settled, the third and final spot is between the Brettsiders, Long Melford and Wivenhoe, the latter having the advantage of a game in hand over their rivals.

Hadleigh make the short trip to Ipswich knowing this is a must-win game, but they will not find their hosts in a generous mood as they have their own agenda and want to finish in the top half of the table.

Tomorrow, Long Melford should have a big advantage when they host already-relegated Swaffham.

Melford need four points to guarantee survival but with the pressure off their visitors, they may find them a tough nut to crack, the Pedlars have picked up 11 points from a possible 18 in recent weeks.

Wivenhoe, with that game in hand, can make a big stride towards survival with a win against visitors Fakenham Town who have little to play for.

Should they win, the pressure would be very much on the two sides currently above them in the table, to make it a nervous last day next week.

Walsham Le Willows host Brantham Athletic without too much resting on the result for either side. Walsham, after a good run that pulled them away from the relegation zone, have slipped up in the last couple of games while Brantham, unbeaten in five, will have one eye on next season as they look to build a strong squad.

Champions-elect Mildenhall head to Stanway Rovers in what could be a difficult game to get themselves motivated for.

Stanway were very much in the title chase in the first half of the season but have slipped away since December while Mildenhall have ploughed a relentless trail to the top.

Basement club FC Clacton host a reinvigorated Godmanchester Rovers and could find the going tough against a visiting side that have won their last five.

Haverhill Rovers host Gorleston, both sides looking to get a season that promised so much – but in the end produced disappointment – out of the way, while Great Yarmouth entertain Saffron Walden.

Ipswich Town fans want to see young defender Josh Emmanuel given his chance in the first team next season.

Ipswich Town manager Mick McCarthy says Josh Emmanuel may be sent out on loan again next season.

Ipswich Town captain Luke Chambers hopes striker David McGoldrick has not played his last game for the club.

Season ticket prices, whether we’ll hear from owner Marcus Evans and manager Mick McCarthy’s future are the three big questions as Ipswich Town head into a two-week international break.

Did you hear about the Mick McCarthy press conference? He walked into the room, sat down, and apologised profusely to the loyal fans of Ipswich Town, writes Northstander Terry Hunt.

Defender Jordan Spence has insisted he and his team-mates will never stop giving their all for manager Mick McCarthy.

In his latest Ipswich Town column, Karl Fuller pens an open letter to Blues owner Marcus Evans...

Ipswich Town defender Cameron Carter-Vickers has been called up to the United States squad for their friendly with Paraguay during the international break.

A fortnight for the fog to clear – but unfortunately it doesn’t look like Ipswich Town fans are going to get the full clarity they need.

Jordan Spence was disappointed he and the rest of the Ipswich Town defence were unable to deal with the threat of towering striker Milan Djuric as they slipped to defeat at Ashton Gate.
