WELCOME to another Green'Un Gold feature and firstly thanks to Ian Hart, the Whitton United scribe, who sent in this picture of a 1920s Whitton side.
The photo was sent to Ian by David Bragg, who now resides in Canada, and includes a picture of David's father Fred Bragg, who is seated centre front row.
Fred was killed during the 1939-45 War and this picture was taken at the bottom of Whitton Church Lane.

A big thanks to Ian for sending this onto us and to David for sending it on in the first place.
It really is so simple to send in old team photographs and they don't need to be as old as this one of Whitton. Indeed any old team photograph more than five years old will be excellent, and the more details you can include the better.
