INTER Milan bad boy Mario Balotelli has been criticised by his team-mates for throwing his shirt to the ground following the first leg of the Champions League semi-final against Barcelona.
Inter won the match 3-1 but substitute Balotelli was given a lukewarm reception by the San Siro fans and was in no mood for celebration.
The 19-year-old threw his shirt to turf and marched angrily towards the tunnel at the close, prompting some of his team-mates to question his attitude.
Inter captain Javier Zanetti said: “(I am) disappointed that a celebration was ruined with something like this. If the fans whistle at him he’s got to understand that it could depend on a lot of different things. We’ve always stood by him.”
