SUFFOLK Schools have provisionally agreed to replay their ESFA Under-16 Cup first round match against Norfolk on Wednesday, November 17.
The original tie at Ipswich Wanderers’ Humber Doucy Lane ground had to be abandoned after 20 minutes on Wednesday evening due to floodlight failure.
Despite valiant attempts by Wanderers’ official Roger Wosahlo to restore the lights referee Robert Gooch had no alternative but to abandon the game.
The tie has now been provisionally rearranged for next Wednesday at the same venue, kick-off 7pm.
