NOTTINGHAM Forest manager Billy Davies has had his contract terminated with immediate effect.
The npower Championship club failed to win promotion to the Barclays Premier League after losing 3-1 on aggregate in the play-off semi-finals to eventual winners Swansea.
Forst have also confirmed on their official website that they are talking to ex-England boss Steve McClaren about taking over from the former Preston and Derby manager.
