UEFA will not take any action against Sir Alex Ferguson for his “typical Germans” remark at Bayern Munich over the sending off of Manchetser United defender Rafael.
Ferguson was angered by the way Bayern players surrounded referee Nicola Rizzoli encouraging the official to show a second yellow card to the Brazilian right back.
“The young boy showed a bit of inexperience but they got him sent off, everyone sprinted towards the referee - typical Germans,” said Ferguson, after seeing his side go out of the Champions League on away goals.
However, UEFA today confirmed that no action will be taken against the United boss for his comments.
