Football Rumours: Inter Milan eyeing up Bacary Sagna
INTER Milan are eyeing up a move for Arsenal defender Bacary Sagna next summer according to reports in Italy.
Italian paper Corriere dello Sport claim the three-time European champions are monitoring the right-back’s rehabilitation from a broken leg, and could make their move to sign him at the end of the season.
It is believed the 29-year-old would be keen to join the San Siro outfit, with former non-league defender Carl Jenkinson impressing at full-back in his absence.
Sagna, who is under contract at the Emirates until June 2014, received a dressing down by manager Arsene Wenger in the summer after he questioned the club’s decision to sell Robin van Persie and Alex Song.
Meanwhile, Manchester United and Liverpool have been dealt a blow in their attempts to lure Mesut Ozil away from Real Madrid after the midfielder dismissed claims he is ready to leave the Santiago Bernabu.
