MANCHESTER United winger Nani is a January transfer target for Italian giants Juventus and AC Milan according to reports.

Nani’s future has been the source of increased speculation, with the 25-year-old yet to agree a new contract at United.

The Portuguese international’s current contract expires in 2014, but negotiations over an extension have reached a stalemate since the summer.

Zenit St Petersburg allegedly made a move for him in August – but a switch to one of the leading sides in Serie A would be far more appealing than Russia for Nani.

Meanwhile at Old Trafford, the club are interested in re-signing centre-back Ryan Shawcross – but will face competition from Chelsea and Tottenham.

The 25-year-old began his career at Old Trafford before making a permanent switch to Stoke in 2008.
