England’s under-21s team posted an emphatic 5-0 victory against their Lithuanian counterparts at Portman Road on Tuesday evening, in their Euro Under-21 Qualifier.
West Ham’s Ravel Morrison opened the scoring and added a second with a solo finish in the second half, while there were also strikes for Southampton midfielder James Ward-Prowse and West Brom’s Saido Berahino (two).
Ward-Prowse also hit the post in the second half, while England’s tendency to overplay at times scuppered what could have been a far more handsome scoreline.
Photograper Steve Waller attended the game caught the best of the match action.
